This bit of pacey blues rock swagger in the sticky carpet pub-rock tradition is the story of 2 men at odds. The first doesn’t like undisclosed visitors and the other was lucky to get out alive after parking his Hyundai on the wrong nature-strip.

The hammer was heavy and it came up the side of the house in the early evening shadows. In the front seat of the SUV with skimmpy thin body panels was an individual with suspect intent. As he worked the phone, ate crisps and checked his slippery side-parting in the rear-vision mirror the sound of pounded metal made its way to a neighbor who came to assist with a winch cable . . .
